A price is useful only when you know what it covers. Start with a budget you feel comfortable with and a clear question you want to explore. You can compare published services without assuming that the cheapest or most expensive coach is the best fit. This guide explains how to make your own comparison; it does not claim an average market price.
Compare the same type of service
Separate introductory calls, individual sessions and packages before comparing amounts. Check whether an assessment, written feedback or contact between appointments is included. A service called a programme may cover several meetings, so read its contents rather than treating its listed duration as an hourly rate.
A worked example: session price versus package price
Imagine a single 60-minute session costs EUR 90 and a package costs EUR 320 for four 45-minute sessions. These are illustrative amounts, not BYOU offers. The package is EUR 80 per appointment, but it includes three hours in total, equivalent to about EUR 106.67 per hour.
The individual appointment is EUR 90 per hour. Neither calculation tells you which service fits your needs; it simply makes the difference in duration visible.
Keep currencies and final charges separate
Compare EUR with EUR, GBP with GBP and USD with USD. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion or charges when paying in a different currency. Read the final checkout amount and ask about any unclear item.
Do not assume that a displayed amount includes services or materials that are not named in the description.
Ask what happens if your plans change
Before committing to several sessions, check booking deadlines, package expiry, rescheduling, cancellations and unused sessions. Read the policy attached to the actual booking. Ask for clarification if the service description and terms appear inconsistent.
The ICF ethics framework emphasises clear agreements, including financial arrangements; it does not set a universal coaching price.
Compare current prices on BYOU
Open the life-coaching or career-coaching comparison page and follow a service link to read what is included. A price on a public listing does not reserve a time. Some services support direct booking when a slot is available; others require a conversation first.
You do not need a client subscription to use BYOU, and you should review the final amount before confirming a booking.
Questions people ask before booking
Does BYOU have one fixed coaching price?
No. Independent professionals price their own services. Use the current service page and checkout to confirm the amount for the option you choose.
Is a free introductory call a free coaching session?
Not necessarily. Read the purpose and duration of the introduction. It may be a conversation about fit rather than the paid service itself.
Is a package always cheaper?
No. Compare the number and length of appointments, what is included and the terms for unused sessions. A lower price per appointment can still mean a higher price per hour.
Can I start with one session?
That depends on the professional's published services. Look for a single-session option or ask about the available arrangements before purchasing a package.
