This can prevent stress from becoming overwhelming. -Challenging Cognitive Distortions: Working with clients to identify common cognitive distortions (e.g., catastrophizing, all-or-nothing thinking) that fuel stress. Together, we will reframe these thoughts into more balanced, realistic perspectives. -Positive Reframing: Encouraging clients to view stressful events as challenges rather than threats. This shift in mindset can help them feel more empowered and resilient. -Gratitude Practices: Guiding clients to incorporate daily gratitude practices to shift their focus away from stressors and toward positive aspects of their lives. This could be through a gratitude journal or a brief daily reflection on what went well. 2.
