Identity and profile review
A public BYOU profile is approved only after BYOU has reviewed the professional's identity and submitted marketplace information. Approval does not mean that every profession is licensed or regulated.
Credential-specific labels
BYOU shows a credential as checked only when that specific qualification has been reviewed. Where relevant, the profile can state the qualification, issuing organization and jurisdiction.
Different professional scopes
Therapists and other regulated professionals may need applicable credentials for their role and location. Coaches, beauty professionals and holistic practitioners can be subject to different requirements.
Keeping information accurate
Professionals remain responsible for keeping their services, prices, availability and qualifications accurate. BYOU may restrict or remove information that is incomplete, misleading or out of date.
