How I work
I qualified as a psychodynamic psychotherapist late in life following careers in law, both in the US and the UK, and in business as an environmental entrepreneur. After 7 years of psychoanalysis I trained for five years during which time I completed a MSc in the Neuroscience of Mental Health and I recently completed a PHD in the neuroscience of art and creativity. I worked for two years in an NHS adult outpatient clinic and currently volunteer in a residential clinic for severely disturbed people. I am currently in private practice and see adults of all ages who are suffering from depression, anxiety and trauma particularly those who are concerned about relationships and who are in the midst of or considering personal and career transitions.
